Sen. Shehu Sani was on his twitter account express that Nigerians need to stop criticising Soldiers.

The Former Senator from Kaduna central, Shehu Sani was on his Twitter account to share the experience he had when he visited a patient in a military hospital.

In his tweet, Shehu Sani explained that he visited a civilian patient in a military hospital and he was opportuned to see soldiers that suffered physical damage to their bodies while on the front line of the battle against terrorists.

Shehu Sani said some of the soldiers he saw were deformed for the rest of their lives. Shehu Sani concluded his statement saying that we appreciate the great sacrifices of those soldiers and God bless them.

This is actually very sad, when people are sitting in theirs home saying the military is not doing anything to curb insecurity, soldiers are getting killed and getting injured for life at the battle field, all because they decided to serve this country and do it to the best of their ability. Imagine the kind pain those soldiers might be experiencing now. They are people’s family too.

We need to stop criticising and start to praise and appreciate our soldiers more, because it is not easy to do what they are doing, especially with reports that they are under equipped which is a very big disadvantage for them in the fight against terrorism.

We can’t pay them back for their sacrifices, but I’m sure that the God they serve will not forget them and he will bless them abundantly.

It would be recalled that some Igbo leaders under the lesd of Highly Respected Igbo Leaders had appealed to Buhari to facilitate the release of Nnamdi Kanu unconditionally.

This was during a visit Aso Villa last November.

At the time, Buhari told the Igbo leaders that he will consider their request, although it was a tough demand.

During an interview with Channels TV that was aired on Wednesday, the President dismissed their plea, saying he would not interfere with the judiciary.

A report says that Ohanaeze Ndigbo officials are meeting very soon over this latest development.

The Oha-na-eze spokesperson Chief Alex Ogbonnia, stated this while reacting to the president interview on political solution in releasing Kanu.

Ogbonnia said, Ohanaeze position is very clear and constant. We have looked at the whole scenario and we are convinced that Nnamdi Kanu’s case and IPOB can only be solved through a political solution.

It is unfortunate that the Presidency or the president hasn’t appreciated the Ohanaeze position and by extension the Igbo position or the Igbo leadership position on this matter.

But we are very confident that by time we will meet him early this year he will understand it more.

After his rearrest in Kenya, and subsequent transfer to the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) in Nigeria, he is charged with treason.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is a Nigeria /British separatist IPOB leader, he based abroad, a dual citizen, British/Nigeria.

Her third child, aged 11, survived the tragedy after jumping out of the house through a window.

Lugari Sub-County Police Commander, Bernard Ngungu, told The Standard that Vuyanzi had accused her husband of infidelity.

We had earlier counselled Vuyanzi and her spouse, Thomas Amito, after a domestic dispute arose between them. We understand that Hellen had accused Thomas of cheating on her with another woman.” said Ngungu.

Amito was away from home at the time.

“I rushed to his house, and confirmed that it was true – that the house was on fire. Unfortunately, my cousin’s wife and her two children aged 4 and 2 years had already been burnt to death. We understand that the couple’s eldest child, a boy aged 11, managed to escape through the window,” said Okila.

Okila said he was not aware of any marital issues that his cousin, Amito, had with his partner.

I was close to them (Amito and Vuyanzi), and I didn’t hear of any issues with their marriage. he added.
