Russian soldiers captured by Ukrainian troops.

Few Russian soldiers have been captured by the Ukrainian military as the conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues.

The Conflict Intelligence Team (CIT), a group of investigators stationed in Russia and Ukraine, confirmed the capture of the Russian soldiers.

The CIT shared photos of the soldiers on Twitter, along with the weapons they were supposedly carrying.

The Russian soldiers were purportedly arrested with tanks in Russia’s Belgorod region in the days leading up to the invasion, and they were discovered on the outskirts of Kharkiv on Thursday.

They were alleged to be armed with several ammo cartridges, knives, and weapons.

According to a Google translation, Press officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Anatoliy Shtefan, has published photographs of what appear to be captured Russian soldiers.

The photographs of the soldiers were also posted by Oleg Nikolenko, a spokesperson for the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ukrainian military took prisoners two Russian soldiers from UNIT 91701 of Yampol’s motorised infantry regiment, Nikolenko tweeted.
