The Russian TOS-1A thermobaric rocket launcher was reportedly captured by the Ukrainian army on Tuesday afternoon.
An image posted on twitter showed the heavy military weapon in an unspecified location.
The rocket launcher, which Russia categorises as a heavy flamethrower”, has an infamous reputation and has been one of many types of heavy artillery spotted entering Ukraine from Russia since the invasion began last Thursday.
There has been speculation that Russia may be planning to use the weapon in the siege on Kharkiv and potentially an attack on Kyiv as troops continued to approach the capital on Tuesday.
