According to a report filed by the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), the Zonal Police Public Relations Officer in Onikan, Lagos state, Superintendent Hauwa Idris Adamu, reported that the force have recorded another success in their efforts towards curtailing insecurity.

King Odetola Olajide Ayinde was murdered by a certain Gbeminyi Sotade and his cohorts. After the arrest of these suspects, they said, we attacked and murdered the king because he is a land grabber.
The prime suspect made it known while being paraded that the late traditional was attacked alongside three of his relatives.
The police reported that the suspects pushed the traditional Ruler into his car and poured petrol on him. This made him burn till he breathed his last.
The press release was concluded with an admonition to other hoodlums in the state.
The advice reads, hoodlums need to have a rethink and turn a new leaf.
