The International Court of Justice (ICJ) has ordered Russia to cease military efforts in Ukraine immediately, stating that Moscow’s use of force has profoundly alarmed it.
The verdict was announced on Wednesday by judges at the United Nations’ highest court.
Despite this, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated on Friday that Moscow was prepared to seek solutions as part of ongoing talks with Ukraine.
Putin stated this on the phone with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
He, on the other hand, accused Ukrainian officials of obstructing discussions by making unreasonable requests.
