Volodymyr Zelensky has called on Russia for negotiation.

President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on Russian officials to come to the negotiating table without delay.

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24 and since the war broke out, there are accusations and counter-accusations.

Over three million people were said to have fled Ukrain to neighbouring countries. Zelensky had said that at least 1,300 of Ukranian soldiers have been killed so far.

However, the president urged Russia to limit its own losses, saying it’s time to restore territorial integrity and justice for Ukraine.

  1. I hope with all of myself that it will be possible to reach peace. Zelenskji also asked for the Pope’s help to act as a mediator between Ukraine and Russia and I hope that at least he will be able to make Putin think and that the war will end. Here in Italy in my area, many buses full of children and desperate mothers have arrived. They are suffering and they are all innocent people. I don’t want to see more suffering. This war is destroying entire cities and entire families and it is not fair. I would like Putin to stop. children, Russians and Ukrainians, must not see bombs, must not grow up with hatred, must not live these experiences.
