It was learnt that Terrorist raided a community in Suleja, a suburb of Abuja ruled by Niger State, on Monday night, killing at least six Nigerian troops.

Bandits were raiding rural areas a few kilometers from Zuma Barracks when soldiers were dispatched from the barracks to interfere, according to witnesses. Six of them were killed in the line of duty, while others were wounded.

Because they live in the barracks and observed the arrival of the deceased soldiers’ remains, our witnesses talked on the condition of anonymity.
