Nigeria: Shocking confession of a cultist arrested in Abeokuta, Ogun state.

A self-confessed leader of the Black Axe confraternity, otherwise called Aiye, Saheed Taiwo, was arrested by the police in Abeokuta, the capital city of Ogun state.

The 27-year-old Saheed confessed how he and his group operate when killing the rival cult group, cutting their hands and using them for protection from being arrested by the police.

He said, He cannot say he has killed some as an individual because they worked in a group, but his group has killed so many people that he can’t even remember the number anymore.

When we wanted to punish the attacker, the rival group that killed our members, our leaders would tell us to kill as many as usual.

He further He narrated that his group was responsible for the death of the leader of the rival group that was killed in Panseke some months ago, who was named Tommy.

Taiwo made it known that he didn’t follow them to kill Tommy, but his group that killed him explained to him that they first macheted Tommy very well before shooting with their AK-47 rifle to be sure that he had died.

Moreover, he narrated that there was a time when the rival group killed their member.

 They trace one of the member of the river group that did that work to Lafenwa, the area of Abeokuta.

On the day that we carried the rephrase attack on him, we went to Lafenwa. We fished him out and killed him.

We later cut his hand with our axe and took his hand to where we would use him to do the protection charm.

The police, on the other hand, have vowed to smoke out the gangs that eluded them during the arrest and ensure that we are taken to court.
