According to Ukrainian Brigadier General Oleksiy Hromov, Russia has increased the number of air attacks against Ukrainian military locations and civilian infrastructure compared to the previous week.
Because the enemy’s planes and helicopters avoid coming inside the range of our air defences, the precision of these strikes is low, he explained during a press briefing.
Hromov said Ukraine will deploy troops to Pisky, a frontline town on the outskirts of Donetsk that has experienced fierce combat in recent days.
Throughout the week, the enemy has relentlessly attacked Pisky, launching 6-7 attacks every day,” he continued.
Separatists supported by Russia claimed to have taken Pisky, while Ukrainian officials denied the town had fallen.
Hromov further stated that around 2,400 Ukrainian soldiers have previously been trained in Britain, while another 2,400 are now being trained, with the intention of training 5,000 more.
Britain has pledged to train up to 10,000 soldiers every 120 days, and many nations, including Canada and Denmark, have stated that military instructors will be sent to Britain to assist.
