The Russian authorities announced on Tuesday that more than 210 Ukrainian servicemen have been killed in clashes over the past 24 hours around the town of Krivói Rog in Dnipropetrovsk province.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine kept trying to attack different sections in the direction of Mikolaiv and Krivolay Rog over the past day.
Russian Aerospace Forces, troops and artillery carried out precision strikes on units and reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said Russian Defence Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov.
He stressed that in just 24 hours, the enemy has lost twelve tanks, eleven infantry fighting vehicles, eight other armoured vehicles, six armoured trucks, and more than 210 personnel in the direction of Mikolaiv and Krivoy Rog, according to the Russian news agency Interfax.
Konashenkov said that Russian forces had attacked areas of concentration of military personnel and equipment in Bereznegovatoe, Chervonopolie, Visunsk, and Yavkino over the past day and stressed that they had also destroyed three Ukrainian Su-25 aircraft in the Mikolayev region.
He also pointed out that among the targets destroyed was a fuel depot of the Ukrainian armed forces in Dnipropetrovsk, as part of an attack with long-range ‘Kalibr’ missiles fired from Ukrainian ships in the Black Sea.
