Peter Afunanya DSS spokesperson said DSS have recovered some implicating materials from Tukur Mamu house.

The Department of State Service (DSS) has revealed that its operatives who carried out a raid at the office and residence of Tukur Mamu on Thursday in Kaduna State recovered incriminating materials.

The DSS listed the materials as large amounts of different currencies and denominations, military accoutrements and financial transaction instruments.

This was made known by Peter Afunanya who is the spokesman of DSS while speaking on the outcome of the raid with Daily Trust. He said the raid was carried out after they have secured a search warrant on his residence.

Me Peter said Tukur Mamu will be charged to court because of the many incriminating things they recovered from his residence.

The DSS spokesman was quoted to have said, So far, appropriate security agencies have executed valid search warrants on Mamu’s residence and office. During the processes, incriminating materials including military accoutrements were recovered.

It was gathered that the Department of State Service has beefed up security around their Abuja headquarters after the arrest of Tukur Mamu.

A source from the unit said the beefing up of the security personnel may not be far from Tukur’s arrest.
